With the HUB invasion plans starting to fall in place, the bulk of the Lazarus resources are funneled into making sure Pitbull is conscious enough to wreak havoc on a transplanetary scale. The cheap medical-rehab walker donated by Candy is fitted with some of the best tech we could muster, a real miracle considering the time frame. With a 3d Printed hull full sealed against vacuum and radiation, with a suite of advanced sensors – and hey, since it’s Pitbull we’re talking about and doing this thing in Candy’s place, might as well mount a pair of 40mm grenade launchers on his wrist. The damn thing needs an adjustment every 12 hours, along with a fresh batch of batteries, but I guess that’s fair since a built in a “hive” for some bots, complete with a charger that runs off the suit – 2 Kestrels, 2 Imps and 4 Fleas. Adding a personal touch – the words “Front Towards Enemy” is embossed on the chest, and “Blame the Breed, not the Deed” is on the back where Pit will never see it – that one narrowly beat out a “Kick Me” sign when decisions were being made. If things work out as well I hope, I have a few ideas of what to do with Worm & Able if they loose any more limbs, and a host of potential upgrades for Siri and Lyn. |
