The first of the “Sentinel” series of guardian animals developed by Armatech, the Cyberhound is a genetically-enhanced and cybernetically augmented Doberman dog which can be given a basic set of commands and left to patrol or can be remotely command-controlled by a user through a wireless interface. It is suitable for use in area security, personal protection duties or urban military combat. The Cyberhound is faster, stronger, has better senses, sharper teeth and claws than its purely biological antecedent. A cyberhound and the command and control cost $45,000 and $400 respectively.
