Bio:

“Junkster” is the generic name for the many variants of the standard Nomad four-wheel-drive vehicle used as a scout and combat car across the American countryside. The alcohol-burning engine and the optional computerized control system was probably traded for with city merchants at a Nomad Gathering, but the rest was put together by the nomad driver and his buddies from the scrap parts of countless wrecks left over from the Collapse. The price noted above is for comparison only – few ever pay money for a whole Junkster.

The Junkster normally has a simple cable-jack interface, if it has one at all, and absolutely none of the standard comforts a mass produced vehicle would have – and none of the safety features either. Most have lights so they can drive in the dark and a radio so they can contact the Pack, that’s about it. Many have weapons mounted on one to three hardpoints, either under manual control or more rarely under cybernetic control. Despite being rugged and hardy, the owner will always be fiddling with it for maximum performance.
